Country View Llamas

     

About us

Country View Llamas is located in Gallatin County, Kentucky on 10.5 acres. Established in 2003 with three llamas, we currently have 22 llamas and are expecting five new crias (babies) in April through May, 2008. Over the past few years we have had motorcycle groups, 4-H groups, and several kindergarten classes visit our farm. We will host any group interested in visiting the farm for an hour or two, or we can make a day of it. It is up to you. Our llamas are friendly, lovable llamas and they don’t SPIT on people! Make plans to bring your group for “A Day With Llamas” and learn why we are so excited about these wonderful creatures.

Directions

  • Louisville/Cincinnati: Take Interstate 71 to exit 55 (KY Highway 1039). Proceed exactly 2 miles to Gould Road (There is a black barn on the right and a long guard rail on the left at this intersection). Turn LEFT onto Gould Road and go approximately .25 miles to the T intersection. This is Knox Lillard Road. Turn LEFT and proceed approximately 1 mile to the Y in the road, next to the little brick church. Go RIGHT at the Y and proceed down the hill. Approximately 1/4 mile past the bottom of the hill, turn RIGHT onto Country View Lane. This is the first blacktop road to your RIGHT after you get to the bottom of the hill. 
  • Warsaw: From the Markland Dam, go approximately ½ mile west/south on Route 42. Turn left onto Route 184. Stay on 184 for 4.2 miles. There will be a BLUE house on the right side of 184. Turn left on Chapel Hill Road. Proceed to Country View Lane and turn left. We are the last place on the LEFT at the end of the cul-de-sac. Our property is surrounded with a brown three board fence.
